We discuss the medical cards of diphtheria patients during 1995-2001 years, which had miocarditis as a complication. We show which subjective and objective symptomes are typical for diphtherial miocarditis. This complication developes in 2/3 of cases, but it`s diagnosed only in 10%. During eczotoxic infection the timely diagnosis determines the prognosis. |
